I am super excited to announce that this year (2017-2018) marks the OFFICIAL roll out of CFSD's Fine Arts Curriculum revision!! It has been many-a-decade in the making and I can assure you that we have been working hard to create a Fine Arts Curriculum that provides inherent conceptual frameworks that are integral to higher-order thinking, expression, and experience.

 

 

 

It is my belief that participation in the visual arts provides students with unique experiences that foster a development of ideas through the process of creativity, inquiry, yand discovery, preparing them to be independent, lifelong learners and developing important traits for success in the 21st Century. I believe that studying art and design enable students to utilize creativity, inquiry, posing and solving problems, perseverance, taking risks, and thinking outside of the box- all important components of a
